Discover the Cosmos at MODS: Camp STEAMology Takes Children on a Stellar Adventure

Explore the Stars at Camp STEAMology at the Museum of Discovery and Science

The Museum of Discovery and Science in South Florida is currently hosting the Camp STEAMology: Look to the Stars program, a unique opportunity for children aged 5-10 to learn about the stars and constellations. Campers will embark on an exciting exploration of the night sky in the planetarium, where they will observe planets, constellations and more.

The museum boasts over 150,000 square feet of interactive science exhibits, a live animal collection, and a variety of science shows and learning labs. One of its main attractions is the Great Gravity Clock, a 52-foot-tall kinetic energy sculpture and the largest clock in Florida.

The Camp STEAMology program offers a hands-on learning experience for children with an emphasis on STEM education. The camp includes an IMAX immersion every week, providing campers with an unforgettable experience that combines science and entertainment. The cost of attendance for members is $240, while non-members can join for $280. Aftercare is also available for an additional fee.
