Exploring the Legacy of UConn Athletics: A Must-Visit Museum Experience

Tonight, the Husky Heritage Sports Museum is officially open for visitors.

The J. Robert Donnelly Husky Heritage Sports Museum is a must-visit destination for both long-time fans of the school and first-time visitors. Located in the UConn Alumni Center on the UConn Storrs campus, the museum will be open to the public for self-guided tours on Monday before and after the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament on campus.

Fans can access the museum through the front door near the north end of the Sherman Family Sports Complex. The museum will be open from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. before the 6 p.m. tip-off and then for an hour after the game. This provides an excellent opportunity for fans to explore and learn more about the incredible athletic heritage of the Huskies.

The museum showcases the history of all UConn teams, along with the coaches and student-athletes who have contributed to the rich legacy of the Huskies. From basketball to football, soccer to lacrosse, every sport is represented in this comprehensive exhibit that spans decades of UConn sports history.
