Exploring the Wonders of Science: Arizona Science and Engineering Fair Showcases the Best of Young Scientists

Arizona Science & Engineering Fair to be hosted by Arizona Science Center on April 4-5

The Arizona Science Center will host an Official Award Ceremony on Saturday, April 6 to recognize the winners of the Arizona Science and Engineering Fair (AzSEF). This ceremony will take place at the Arizona Science Center, where first-place winners from various levels will compete for prizes and scholarships worth thousands of dollars.

Managed by Arizona Science Center, AzSEF brings together adolescent science fair winners from across Arizona to showcase their projects. During the week of AzSEF, 690 students will participate in the fair, with a total of 140 schools featured at the event. Of these schools, 58 are Title I schools.

The students will be divided into three divisions – elementary, junior, and senior – and will have the chance to win prizes and scholarships for their hard work. The Grand Award winners in the Senior Division will have an opportunity to compete at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles in May.

Check-in for competitors begins at 9 a.m. on April 4 and April 5 at the location of the fair: 500 E. Veterans Way in Tempe. Don’t miss out on this exciting event that provides students with a chance to showcase their science projects and win prizes and scholarships!
