Former Syracuse Guard Arrested on Drug Charges: Allegations of Involvement in Diddy Combs’ Sex Trafficking Case Surface

Brendan Paul, Former Syracuse player, arrested on drug charges for allegedly being a courier for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

In recent news, former Syracuse guard Brendan Paul was arrested in Miami on drug-related charges. According to Miami-Dade police records, he was taken into custody on felony charges for possession of suspected cocaine and marijuana candy. Despite allegations linking him to rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking case, Paul’s arrest was not related to the raid of Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami.

Allegations have emerged claiming that Paul worked as Combs’ “mule,” acquiring and distributing drugs and guns as part of an alleged sex trafficking operation. However, both Combs and Paul’s attorney have denied these allegations. In a federal lawsuit filed in February, it was claimed that Paul played a key role in the illegal activities of the organization.

Despite his brief tenure at Syracuse, Paul’s name has now become associated with Combs’ legal troubles. He started his basketball career as a walk-on at Syracuse but later transferred to Division-II Fairmont State to finish his collegiate career. Over two seasons, he played a total of 51 games for Fairmont State before becoming embroiled in the scandal involving Combs.
