Lakers Comeback from 19-Point Deficit, Defeat Bucks in Double OT Thriller without LeBron James

The Los Angeles Lakers pulled off an impressive double-overtime victory against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday without LeBron James. The team was led by Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves in the 128-124 win, overcoming a 19-point deficit in the fourth quarter to force overtime.

Davis had a stellar performance, recording 34 points, 23 rebounds, four blocks, two steals, and two assists in a career-high 52 minutes of play. Reaves also had a remarkable game with a triple-double, contributing 29 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. Both players played pivotal roles in leading the Lakers to victory.

In the fourth quarter, the trio of Davis, Reaves, and Russell scored all but two of the Lakers’ points, erasing a significant lead held by the Bucks. Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo’s struggles at the free-throw line ultimately hindering the Bucks as the Lakers took control in the second overtime.

Lillard struggled shooting during his game with only 27 points on 9-of-29 from field and 3-of-14 from beyond three point line. However this loss marked second time this month that Lakers defeated Bucks without James as they won on March 8 with D’Angelo Russell scoring an impressive 44 points.

The win brought Lakers record to 40-32 and kept them in ninth place in Western Conference just two games behind Phoenix Suns for eighth spot even though missing their star player they have shown resilience and talent proving they can compete against top teams in league.
