Scarlett Johansson in Discussions to Star in Upcoming ‘Jurassic World’ Film

Scarlett Johansson is set to return to the world of franchises with her potential involvement in Universal’s new Jurassic World movie. The film, directed by Gareth Edwards and written by David Koepp, is moving quickly in its production and is set for release on July 2, 2025. This will be the fifth installment in the 30-year-old franchise that began with Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park in 1993.

Johansson previously starred as Black Widow in Marvel Studios movies, but she has also earned critical acclaim with Oscar nominations for Marriage Story and JoJo Rabbit. Her involvement in the new Jurassic World movie marks a return to the franchise for her.
