Total Solar Eclipse Watching: A Unique Opportunity to Experience the Universe at the Science Mill in Johnson City!

Space is limited at Science Mill for eclipse viewing

The Science Mill in Johnson City is offering a unique opportunity to witness the April 8 total solar eclipse. This rare astronomical event will allow visitors to experience the moon completely blocking out the sun for approximately 4 minutes starting at 1:35 p.m. on that Monday. The museum, conveniently located near the path of totality, provides an ideal spot to observe this rare celestial phenomenon.

Each ticket for the solar eclipse viewing includes regular museum admission for four people, four solar eclipse-viewing glasses, and a designated parking space in the west parking lot off of U.S. 290. Due to limited parking availability and subject to weather conditions, visitors are encouraged to arrive early and park in one of the nearby public parking lots if necessary.

The Science Mill is situated at 101 S. Lady Bird Lane, making it easily accessible for those interested in attending the solar eclipse viewing. Tickets are limited and walk-ins will not be permitted on April 8th. To reserve your tickets or get more information about this incredible opportunity, visit sciencemill.org, call (844) 263-6405 or email info@sciencemill.org beforehand so you don’t miss out on this amazing experience!
