Union-Endicott High School Technology Department Earns Prestigious NYSTEA Award for Program of Excellence

Union-Endicott High School’s technology department honored with Program of Excellence Award

The Union-Endicott High School technology department has been recognized with the New York State Technology Education & Engineering Association Program of Excellence Award. This honor was bestowed upon the department by the Southern Tier Technology & Engineering Educators Association, and accepted by teachers Corey Munn, Mike Wichowski, and Tom Palazzo at the NYSTEA annual conference. The program offers a variety of courses including welding, automotive, flight simulation, and carpentry, and has seen significant growth in enrollment over the past few years.

Corey Munn, an engineering teacher at Union-Endicott High School expressed his gratitude for the award stating that it is a great honor to be recognized by his peers for the hard work put into the program. The Program of Excellence Award is one of the highest honors given by the New York State Technology & Engineering Educators Association. As a result of this recognition, Union-Endicott High School will be representing New York State for the International Technology Educators & Engineering Association’s Program of Excellence Award.

The department’s commitment to providing top-notch technology education has been recognized and celebrated through this award. The dedication put into the program has not gone unnoticed and the department is proud to receive this prestigious recognition.
